Do GODS punish us by answering our prayers? – a logical approach based on facts of life..

“When the Gods want to punish you, they answer your prayers.”

If God intends to punish us, he answers the prayers. Does it mean that one should not look up to God for anything, which in turn implies that one should not desire for anything.

Well, if it is given this angle, does this saying has a connection with the sayings “Life has its own plans for you” or “What you desire is more than what you deserve.”

In case it is connected, does it mean that life should be given a chance to run over, and goals, desires or aspirations should never be set? Does it mean that everything should be left undecided or should not be given a thought just because destiny will take care of things (as destiny is already fixed)?

Does this suggest that destiny does more good than destination set by determination? If destiny is considered to do more good than destination, does it indicate that it is better to decide to be determined to take the destiny?  If one decides to abide by destiny, does it indirectly make a point that it is not necessary to assume responsibility for the mistakes that happen in life just because there is already someone/ something else to blame?

If responsibility is not assumed for mistakes in life, how would one be ready for a real risk or trouble? If a real risk or trouble is believed not worth giving a shot, would life be more struggle-free? If life is more struggle-free, is it not filled with safety and peace in every piece of it? If life is full of safety and harmony, is there a place for being unhappy? If there is no chance to be unhappy, is it even possible to make the difference between being happy and not being happy?

If there is no difference figured between being happy and unhappy, could that be assumed that there is no difference in being happy or unhappy? In a place where happiness is not recognized, does sadness not occupy the vacuum…..? Therefore, according to Oscar Wilde,

“Do not wish for anything and stay happy.” – [By “stay happy”, he means stay sad which is derived from the above theorem.]

“What a pessimistic approach to life in the name of God?”

Extended clause

[Or]

“Wish for something, struggle for it, find the way to find it.”

-          Possibility A – If what is achieved is worth wishing, it is success. The journey towards success and the sense of achievement explains happiness.

-          Possibility B – If what is achieved is not worth wishing, it is aspirational regret. Always another wish can be made to be achieved in no time, as the road for victory is already taken. Eventually, victory explains happiness.

“The choice is yours.”

“Thank you for your time & Have a great day”

very well written. I liked this post. Very thoughtful and logical.

“Life has its own plans for you” or “What you desire is more than what you deserve.” Life may have its own plan for us, But I feel that we only desire that, that we are capable of acheiving.

    Will keep visiting.
    Cheers,

didn’t quiet follow what you were saying, but i just took the quote as that human nature is so dark and are prayers can be so cruel, that if god wan’t to punish us, he would answer them and as our dark thoughts became reality we would see how dark humans can be.

i take the quote as basiclly “be careful what you wish for”

i’m sorry if that is basically what you said in your opinion, but i’m kind of sleepy right now and i couldn’t really grasp what you were saying :P
