An unconnected third hand

So close to your heart is a person who resides by you 24*7. She is small, cute, puny, goes by trend; the best companion one could ever have. If you get involved with her, she will turn devious, devious enough to make you forget your family, friends, neighbours, so devious sometimes to make you starve and thirsty without your knowledge.

She can whisper in your ears for hours, she can disturb your days in dozen. If you propose a plan in her presence, she is capable of turning it down. Well then you decide to go by her plan; though unintended, she does it with much ease.

Many are her addicts, many are obsessed, many go crazy in her presence. Few become an amiack in her absence. She is so much an integral part of you that you cannot imagine a day without her.

She sleeps with you but never conceives, she watches you eating 3 whiles a day perhaps she is contented with one meal a day, she watches you drink water but she never gets thirsty.

You kiss her everyday at least once, you smooch her if you are in love and if your love is new you will smooch her for hours. She likes to be tickled and she responds promptly, nonetheless if she delays to respond you will afflict anxiety disorder.

She is a havoc at times paving way for disastrous accidents, loss of lives, unexpected health complications, productivity hazards and several disorders. Perhaps without her, success is not that easy. She helps you touch base with friends, relatives, peer groups, bypassers, enemies, colleagues, boss, higher authorities and recorded voices even, twice a day if you are a Vodafone subscriber.

Our ancestors knew nothing about her, grandfathers despise her, fathers use her, we love her and our offsprings live her. In short,

She is a lovely maid,

unconditionally at your aid,

promises never to fade,

until you decide to forbid.

Dedicated to all the lovely cell phone addicts, including myself ……………

“Thank you for your time & Have a great day”
