11 recent flyovers that beautify my city Chennai

Every ruling party has it’s own style of alluring people. On it’s attempts to attract people/gather votes it proves if it has the real sense of responsibility towards public or just a fake show up to pretend to be responsible. However, if it is a flaunt off, the assignment assumed will not last and if it lasts they are not fake.

Kalaignar aatchi (Tamil; meaning ruling party) has come up with a plethora of flyovers to decorate Chennai with these beautiful traffic avert giants. Take a look at the flyovers that are launched in Chennai of late.

  3. Off late, I have been thinking, if only our designers could make aesthetically pleasing flyovers, it would make our lives so much better than to see those usual grey covered stretches.

Most flyovers look sad and some don’t even serve the purpose probably because by the time they finish, the traffic has increased exponentially and the flyover cannot handle the load.

I understand that they have engineering flaws, perhaps something is better than nothing. It is giving better looks at the same time.

  5. Thanks Sridhar. I have always admired the infrastructure growth of Chennai. People think its the Central government, perhaps I believe it is the State govn. They are doing a wonderful job.

By the way I have accepted your request in Facebook.
