Makkal manasatchi – meaning the conscience of public, perhaps it means voice of the people is a program being telecasted in Zee Tamil between 9.30 to 10.30 am every Sunday. The program is all about the Mayor Mr. Subramaniam listening to the vociferation of people. People call him telephonically and post him with suggestions, requisitions, injustice and so on. He takes a note of all their queries and looks into it.
The very following episode telecasts the interviews with people whoever called him the previous week, where they recite the status of the problem and how well it has been handled.
If you have any suggestion, queries or requests to be put forth, you can certainly make use of this program. Mayor is so much within the reach. He is making the calls as short as possible to make way for more number of calls to be accommodated in the stipulated time. Therefore, make your call short and informative so that you can let him attend more number of calls.
“Thank you for your time & Have a great day”

purasawalkam high road is not havain a proper platform which is fully accomodated by the shop keepers, so people are unable to walk on the pletforms and walk on the roads which jam the traffic, and the corporation water is supplied only at a particular time and the houses located there do not get sufficient water.
Ramya Writes: Thank you Shathika for your concern, I guess this issue should be taken to the Mayor at once. Kindly contact him on Makkal Tv in the following program. I pray this problem gets solved asap. Thank you once again.
Sir,
I’m a resident of Nowroji Road, Chetpet, parellel to Mc Nickle’s Road. A number of cable wires (could be internet servers ) have been hanging in front of my house ( 20/39) since two weeks. Iam personally writing this to you because my request to the Police forces (G 3 station) turned futile. I probly contacted them about six times. I myself is a victim who fell once on the Poonamalee High Road, tripping over a cable. I would appreciate if you kindly look into this matter.
Secondly, there is a State bank of India right in front of my house. The bankers have not kept any dust bin for the corporation people to collect the garbage. As a result they and the out house residents behind the bank throw garbage loose, which flies everywhere.
This area one time the pride of great people have turned out badly misused.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely
Vijayalakshmi Balasundaram
