This poem is dedicated to all the mothers (both home makers and office going mothers). Thank you for your unconditional love and unflinching service.
A beautiful face,
which springs with innocence,
her heart; it says,
no place for ignorance;
ignorance to others,
hence she sways;
sways swift to make it upto others.
This little fragrance,
leaves a life-long remembrance;
remembrance both in your heart and my heart,
if you fail to remember,
you are merely heartless.
She smothers;
smothers with abundant work,
that never matters;
matters for her,
and that’s how she differs;
differs from others,
with her only intention to make it up to others.
This beautiful nanny,
almost skin and bonny,
still intends to make it up to others,
neither you, nor me;
are anywhere next to her.
Forgoing her power of destiny,
she chose to be a sweet nanny,
she preferred to watch loony toony,
all along with her teeny tiny,
anything to happy her little honey.
Faster than a tsunami,
could penetrate into your heart,
if you are curious about this sweetheart,
there is one in every house,
left ignored and unnoticed.
She cares for others more than her;
that being the only objective,
she chooses to remain passive,
to keep the family active.
If you still could not make it,
peep into your kitchen,
covered with an apron;
with a handful of saffron;
so ready for some concoction,
she is the one I mean,
yes, mom is the one I mean.
“Thank you for your time & Have a great day”
